Create Better Images Workshops

Do you want to take better pictures, but aren't sure where to start? Or are you an 'enthusiast' who just wants your images to pop more? Then join us, Jennifer Bowen and Kimberly Jarman, both seasoned Phoenix-based wedding & portrait photographers, in one of our Create Better Images photography workshops best suited to your level.

Our workshops are a great opportunity for those starting out in photography, for those wanting to increase their skill set, or for those who just want to take better pictures in general.

We offer 3 different workshops for all photographer levels: a 3 hour beginners class for newbies to photography or parents who want to take better pictures of their kids; a 7 hour intermediate class for hobbyists or budding business owners who still need to advance their technical skills; and now, an intensive 2-day workshop for intermediate/advanced photographers who want to take their images to the next level and learn more about the business of photography.

One of the reasons we decided to host our first workshop in the summer of 2008 is because we both felt that seminars and workshops have been the single best source of education for us in our own careers. They provide a hands-on learning experience that you often cannot get from reading books or taking more formal classes. We want to share what info we have learned along the way to help others hone their craft and grow in their own photography career.

We just sold out for both the Beginners and Intermediate Workshop in January! If you were not able to sign up for the January workshops we will be announcing the next workshops in the coming months. Most likely they will be in the summer, so keep your schedules open!!

If you would like to be added to a waiting list feel free to contact us above and we will add you onto the list in case someone has to back out.

We are so excited to meet all of the attendees and can’t wait to share with you how to become a better photographer!

January 18, 2010 - 9:12 am Lily Mannarino - Hello You two ladies have an amazing site and I love your collective photo galleries!! I live in Canada but will be vacationing in Mesa March 24-April 7/10. Just wanted to know if you have any spring dates for upcoming workshops as I am very interested in attending. August 7, 2009 - 4:00 pm Eunice Brownlee - If you have the opportunity to take these workshops, I guarantee they are worth every penny. I have spent twice the money on similar workshops from other organizations in the past and gained less knowledge and didn't have as much opportunity to put into practice what I'd learned as I did at the Create Better Images workshop. Not only are Kimberly and Jennifer knowledgeable and fun, they are practical and speak "real people" language.

The Intermediate workshop is an intense 7 hour day. We share a lot of information with our attendees and then go out and apply it with a live Model Shoot. We then head back into the studio and view all the images and go a little over post processing. We think it is an incredible day and will really take your photography to the next level. However, sometimes you need to hear what the workshop is like from people who have taken the class, so we put together a promo video for the Intermediate workshop to give you a little glimpse into what you can expect from this workshop.
